Fluke 233 wireless Digital Multimeter is used for measuring AC & DC voltages, Resistances, Capacitances, Temperature and AC & DC currents. In this tutorial, we are going to tell you how to measure voltage, current and resistance using Fluke 233 wireless digital multimeter. For its basic description like its features, applications etc you may follow this Fluke 233 wireless digital multimeter. However, Capacitance and continuity measurement will be covered also but in next tutorial.
How to measure Ac & Dc voltage with Fluke 233 wireless Digital Multimeter?
Steps for measuring AC & DC voltages with Fluke 233 wireless Digital Multimeter:
- Select the voltage ranges i.e. 600.0mV, 60.00V, 6.000V, 600.0V & 1000V.
- Set AC or DC voltage as per your requirement.
- Turn the dial to mṽ function.
- Inside the com jack insert black lead.
- Inside the VΩ jack insert Red lead.
- Connect firstly the black lead to the circuit and after that the Red lead.
- Firstly mill volt ac is set.
- Push
to switch to mill volt DC.
- Set up for measurement of AC & DC voltage shown below.
- Note the measurement display on the screen. When you have noted the readings, first remove red lead from the circuit and then remove the black lead to avoid any electrical shock or damage to the device.
How to measure Resistance with Fluke 233 wireless Digital Multimeter?
Steps for measuring Resistances with Fluke 233 wireless Digital Multimeter are:
- Select the resistance ranges i.e. 600.0 Ω, 60.00kΩ, 6.000kΩ, 600.0kΩ & 6.000 MΩ and 40.00M Ω.
- Set Resistance value as per your requirement.
- Turn the dial to Ω.
- Inside the com jack insert black lead.
- Inside the VΩ jack insert Red lead.
- Connect firstly the black lead to the circuit and after that the Red lead.
- For measurement, meter sends small current through the circuit.
- The resistance measured is the total resistance of all paths because the current flows through all possible paths between the probes.
- Note the measurement display on the screen. When you have noted the readings, first remove red lead from the circuit and then remove the black lead to avoid any electrical shock or damage to the device.
How to measure Ac & Dc current with Fluke 233 wireless Digital Multimeter?
Steps for measuring AC & DC Current with Fluke 233 wireless Digital Multimeter are:
- Select the current ranges i.e. 6.000A and 10.00 A.
- AC current is shown as an RMS value.
- Now remove the power from the circuit and discharge all high voltage capacitors.
- Insert Black lead inside COM terminal.
- Insert Red lead inside A terminal.
- Point the dial to for Ac and for Dc current.
- Set up for measuring currents are shown below.
